Sidmouth's Miss Moneypenny: The Remarkable Life of Kathleen Pettigrew MI6 by Claire Hubbard-Hall

In 2024 Claire Hubbard-Hall wrote 'Her Secret Service' about the largely forgotten women in MI5 and MI6. The most prominent was Kathleen Pettigrew who served as personal assistant to four heads of MI6 and was the model for Ian Fleming's Miss Moneypenny. She spent her 30 years retirement in Sidmouth. Very recently our Museum acquired her surviving personal papers. Claire's soft cover book has an added chapter relating to this new information. We are fortunate that she has agreed to a 'Meet the Author' SVA event and she will welcome questions from you.
