SVA Buildings

We occupy and maintain two buildings in Sidmouth: the Museum (at Hope Cottage, Church Street) and 12 Church Street (just opposite the Museum).

Sidmouth Museum

The Museum is owned by Sidmouth Town Council, but we occupy it on a long lease from them. The Museum contains all our displays and exhibitions, and storage for the Clothes Collection, and Social History. We have just extended it to create a new disabled access, and provide much better toilet and kitchen facilities for our staff.

12 Church Street

12 Church Street houses our administration and meeting facilities, and our collections of Pictures and Prints, Maps, Photographs, Newspapers and Books. We moved here in 2023 from our former HQ at 36A Fore Street (formerly Trumps).
