We live in one of the most beautiful areas in the United Kingdom. The SVA has for many years arranged a variety of different walking activities. All walks are FREE OF CHARGE.

Walkers

COUNTRYSIDE WALKS THROUGH EAST DEVON AND THE SID VALE
Monthly on First Tuesdays, throughout the Year, departing at 10.00
(unless stated otherwise). About 5 miles.

MUSEUM WALKS
Start from the Museum, Church Lane
From APRIL to OCTOBER
Walks start at 11 am for Tuesday and Thursday and at 2pm for Wednesday. We provide knowledgeable Guides

Tuesday: Guided morning walk through the West of Sidmouth town.

Wednesday: Guided 'walk and talk' about the World Heritage Coast, looking at local aspects, from the River Sid to Jacob's Ladder, (across the sea front). An introduction to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.Walk along the Esplanade.

Thursday. Guided walk through the East of Sidmouth Town.

MAPS AND GUIDES
The SVA publishes leaflets and books for walkers, and other literature about the Sid Valley. These include 'Sidmouth Countryside Walks' with walking map and local commentary. These are obtainable through the Heritage Centre (Museum) and local booksellers.
