Information about the River Patrol
The River Sid, with its contributing streams, is an important feature of the Sid Valley, and volunteers from the SVA regularly walk the river banks, removing plastic bags, plastic bottles, pallets, and other items discarded by a thought-less world!
The patrol also looks for healthy signs of fish and other wild life along its banks; and watches out for signs of pollution, fallen trees, broken banks, and submits reports to the appropriate authorities.

Please contact us if you see examples of pollution, broken banks or fallen trees, or unusual wild life.
