Sid Vale Association Newsletter

NewsletterTwice a year (July and November), the volunteer Editors produce a Newsletter. This tells of the work of the SVA through its Officers, and its various committees and teams of volunteers, which has happened in recent months, and tells of events to come. It also contains articles relevant to the Sid Valley, and welcomes contributions for publication from its members, (subject to space). The Newsletter has value added through the use of illustrations.

In March the SVA produces a News Sheet outlining the Spring and Summer programme which is distributed with the Annual Report.

At the direction of our Membership Secretary, volunteers distribute our Newsletters by hand to local Members. Additional copies are posted to those who happen to live elsewhere in England, and also to members as far away as Europe, America, and Australia!

The Newsletter is not available through bookshops, but is provided free of charge to more than 2600 members (2008), and to those seeking to join the Association. As a charity the SVA needs to raise and maintain its publicity profile through the local media.
